I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Readers need to take the author's warning to heart. This book is WAY over the top, but it is also super sweet and I loved every minute of it.
From the moment Flynn sees a picture (a PICTURE!) of Cali, he is obsessed. He brings her to LA for a modeling job, but it's really because he wants to make Cali his. When he finally sees her at the photo shoot and , his feelings only grow. And they have this ridiculous connection that neither of them can explain.
I loved Cali. She was an extremely confident, plus size model who made no apologies for who she was. At first she was totally taken aback by Flynn's feelings, but it didn't take long for her to feel the same way. Sure a lot of woman would probably want to run away screaming, but not Cali. He wanted her and she wanted him and they were both going to get what they wanted.
I like how they both had these moments of "This is crazy, but I don't care." It's nice that they recognized how quickly everything progressed, but didn't give two shits about it.
I've really enjoyed Alexa's last couple books. The men are over the top Alphas, but I love that beneath everything they really are really sweet guys. And the women are these kick ass characters that I want to be friends with. Keep 'em coming Alexa!
