COVER REVEAL: 50 Ways to Win Back Your Lover by Kelly Siskind

Kelly Siskind has revealed the cover
for 50 Ways to Win Back Your Lover!

Releasing September 6, 2022

From Kelly Siskind comes a slow-burn romantic comedy about one man's creative attempt to win back his high school sweetheart after a change in fortune gives them a second chance at love.

Growing up, I had it all—my art, close friends, a gorgeous girlfriend who owned my heart—but then my life exploded.

Turns out my father was laundering money, and my whole family got shoved into witness protection. No notice. No chance to explain. I was ripped away from beautiful, blue-eyed Delilah Moon, shattering both our worlds.

A decade later, fate has given us a second chance.

The cartel my father worked for has been wiped out. I've returned to my hometown, determined to win back the love of my life. But Delilah is engaged.

Or . . . is she?

I'm almost positive she's lying about her fiancé to protect her heart. Which means I need to up my game.

I've made a list of fifty ways to prove we're meant to be. Except Delilah's barely looking at me, never mind swooning. I have a feeling my disappearance scarred her more than she's admitting, and no one in town will tell me what happened . . .

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: Under Fire by (Florida Glaze Hockey #1) M.E. Carter

Tempers are about to flare and sparks are about to fly…

Tucker Hayes is holding a grudge. After being unexpectedly traded from his beloved professional hockey team in San Antonio, he’s still trying to mesh with his new teammates in Tampa. It’s going fine, but that’s just it… fine.

Lacy Hawkins is holding a grudge of her own. She blames the man who left her alone five years ago and caused her dreams to die a slow and painful death. Now it takes all her energy everyday just to stay afloat.

When their paths unexpectedly cross again, drinks are thrown and anger becomes the norm. But Tucker and Lacy have to find a way to stop fanning the flames if they want to come out unscathed.

Because when you’re under fire, the innocent can get burned…

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

I love the start of a new series! I have read the author's previous books, so I was already familiar with Tucker, but there is also a short story called Playing with Fire that came out before this essentially sets up this story. You don't have to read it before reading this one, but it is worth the read.

The thing I love about books by this author is that there is drama, but I never feel like it's too much drama. Don't get me wrong, I love a drama filled book, but I don't always want one or feel like the story warrants one.

Gah! Tucker is such a sweetheart. I just adored him. He had no problem stepping up and taking responsibility. And I really did enjoy Tucker and Lacy as a couple. I did get a little frustrated with Lacy and her doubts, but I understood why she had them. I just wish she had gotten over things a little earlier in the book. Because of those doubts, this book is a slow burn, which I liked, but I wanted a little more steam from them.

This book is sweet and a little sexy at times with a side of humor brought to you by some adorable children. A few familiar faces make cameos in this book and I always enjoy that. I look forward to the next book in this series!

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: Fair Catch by Kandi Steiner

I thought being the only girl on a college football team would be my biggest problem... until I find out my brother's best friend is my new roommate.

Fair Catch by Kandi Steiner is now live!

As if things aren't already tough enough as the only girl on a college football team, Coach had to go and assign Zeke Collins as my roommate.

A cocky kick returner and my brother's best friend who should have been ripped of that title years ago, he's as infuriating as he is undeniably sexy.

I hate him, and for good reason -- reason I won't ever let him forget.

He thinks because we grew up together that it's his role to protect me, but all he does is get in my way, make me look weak, and piss me off more.

I tell him I can handle myself, and I'm hell-bent on getting that point across to him and the rest of the nation watching the only girl in collegiate football.

The pressure doesn't get to me. The scrutiny? I'm ready for.

But sharing very thin walls with Zeke Collins? I wasn't prepared for that.

And the more we're forced together, the harder it is to distinguish that pencil-thin line between hating him... and wanting him.

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

First things first....I freaking love everything about this cover! I love the colors and the mood it gives off. It fits the book perfectly!

Secondly....a female college football player! Yes! I'm sure there are other books with the same hook, but I am not aware of them. I loved it!

Now for the rest of the book...Riley hates Zeke because of an accident that led to her brother (the one who originally had all the football aspirations) being paralyzed. It doesn't matter that they have been friends for years and her brother has forgiven him, Riley refuses. But when they become college teammates, things start to change. A lot.

Riley, being the only female on the team, definitely has some obstacles to overcome. Most of her teammates are okay, but there is always one jerk who thinks she shouldn't be there. And Riley can hold her own, but that doesn't mean that Zeke doesn't have her back.

I really enjoyed this book. There was a lot of love/hate feelings between Riley and Zeke and I was just waiting for things to boil over. And when they do....*chef's kiss*. It's also a bit angsty, which I always enjoy. If you are fan of Kandi's books, this is definitely a must read.

Kandi Steiner is an Amazon Top 5 bestselling author and whiskey connoisseur living in Tampa, FL. Best known for writing "emotional rollercoaster" stories, she loves bringing flawed characters to life and writing about real, raw romance -- in all its forms. No two Kandi Steiner books are the same, and if you're a lover of angsty, emotional, and inspirational reads, she's your gal.

An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women's Studies. She started writing back in the 4th grade after reading the first Harry Potter installment. In 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her "freedom of press."

She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a die hard hopeless romantic, and likes to highlight all the challenges of love as well as the triumphs.

When Kandi isn't writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, planning her next adventure, or pole dancing (yes, you read that right). She enjoys live music, traveling, playing with her fur babies and soaking up the sweetness of life.

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: You Keep Breaking Us (Prospect Street #3) by Carrie Aarons

We were the ultimate example of that couple who can’t live with each other, but can’t seem to function without each other.

The minute I met Callum Strass at fifteen, I was a goner. We were the golden couple of our high school. The king and queen of prom, the sweethearts voted most likely to get married and have babies, and the absolute idiots who decided to attend the same college.

Because that’s when it all fell apart. The naïve, puppy love versions of ourselves couldn’t see the obvious cracks we’d had back in our hometown. But they sure revealed themselves when we started living in an off-campus house together with four of our other friends.

Within a semester, blow-out fights, jealousy, every-other-week breakups, and my abandonment issues had him bowing out. Not just on me, but on the house, too. Until our senior year, when his parents refuse to keep paying rent on two places.

So he moves back in, and I’m forced to live with my ex. The one who has ruined all other men for me. The one I still cry myself to sleep at night thinking about. The one who confesses, during a run-in in a dark hallway, that he hates how much he still loves me.

And when he starts dating again, he might as well plunge a knife straight through my heart. Despite our breakup, I’m on the verge of losing him for real this time, and possibly forever. The only option is to seek help for my deep-seated trauma, the thing that Callum always encouraged me to see someone about. The thing that eventually pushed him away.

Put two of the most driven, headstrong, and passionate people in any relationship and it’s bound to combust. We’ve always had that twin flame kind of love.

So, together we might burn. But we also might heal.

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

While this book is NA, it definitely gives off a lot of marriage in trouble vibes. Bevan and Callum have been together for years, but when their relationship is broken beyond repair, they part ways. It obvious that they are still in love, but when they are together, they just don't work anymore. Callum moves out of the house he shares with Bevan and his other friends, but he finds himself back there when he can't find a replacement roommate.

This book is about two people trying to find their way back to each other. It was frustrating at times and I wanted to reach into my book and shake the heck out of both of them. Again, think marriage in trouble, but with college students. Bevan has issues within herself that she needs to address and Callum has to get a new perspective of their relationship in order to see that they are both to blame for it's demise.

Once I was able to sit down, with no interruptions, I got through this book pretty quickly. It's a great addition to the series and if you've read the other books, you should definitely read this one.

About the Author

Author of romance novels such as Fool Me Twice and Love at First Fight, Carrie Aarons writes books that are just as swoon-worthy as they are sarcastic. A former journalist, she prefers the love stories of her imagination, and the athleisure dress code, much better.

When she isn't writing, Carrie is busy binging reality TV, having a love/hate relationship with cardio, and trying not to burn dinner. She lives in the suburbs of New Jersey with her husband, two children and ninety-pound rescue pup.

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: Persuasion (Temptation #2) by TK Leigh

I came to Hawaii to get answers about my sister’s death.

But that all changes when I meet her.

Beautiful. Charming. Haunted.

And the last thing I need in my life.

But that doesn’t mean I can stay away from her, a powerful force pulling me toward her when all rationale tells me to keep my distance.

So we make an agreement.

One week. No names. No falling in love.

It’s the perfect plan.

Until a shocking revelation shakes my foundation to its core, leaving me to question everything I thought I knew about her.

I knew this temptation was a disaster waiting to happen.
I didn’t realize it would be so devastating.

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

Oooh boy. Now we are really getting into the meat of this book. This one picks up where the other left off and thankfully we get a bit of a resolution from that shocking revelation.

In this book we get a little more sexy stuff (Yay!) between Lachlan and Julia, but we also get more of the mystery that is starting to unfold. It's complex and I found myself trying to put all the pieces together and by the time I finished reading, I was completely shocked!

I can't even begin to explain how much I love Lachlan and Julia. I am such a fan of the older woman/younger man trope and this one is SO GOOD. The two of them are just perfect together and I just get the warm and fuzzies with how amazing they are. And something happens towards the end of this book that is just so good.

Now we still have two more books to go, so I am sure that the author will have plenty of twists and turns for all involved and I can't wait to read them. Let's be honest....TK knows how to keep us readers on the edge of our seat and she leaves us wanting more. ESPECIALLY with how this book ended!
