From USA Today and Amazon Charts bestselling author Meghan Quinn, comes a new fake dating, standalone sports romance featuring the hockey men you can’t get enough of and love. This steamy, age-gap romantic comedy will bring all the laughs while making your cheeks blush at the same time.

Running into your ex is never ideal.
Running into your ex who is now dating your nemesis is a literal nightmare.

That’s how I found myself in a sheer panic, reaching for the closest guy at the bar and kissing him. And to my delight he was easily the most attractive man I’ve ever seen.

The only problem is, when I tried to walk away after thanking him for his help, he stopped me with three life-changing words . . .“You owe me.”

That’s how I found myself, a college girl, in a fake relationship with a professional hockey player ten years older than me.

At first it was easy.
He helped me with my internship.
I helped keep his ex away from him.
We were becoming fast friends.

It wasn’t until he started staying the night at my dorm did the rules of our arrangement become complicated.

Now my feelings are involved and even though I kissed the right man at the right time, I’m worried he’s just waiting for the clock to run out.

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

Silas Taters...you sexy mf'er. I just cannot with this man. He really brigs the spice in this book. It takes a little bit to get there, but when it does....WHEW BOY!!

I enjoy the fake girlfriend/boyfriend trope because you almost always know HOW it is going to end, but it's everything that happens up to that point that really makes the story. Meghan did not disappoint with this one. Yes, I found Ollie to be a bit frustrating at times, but she's also a 21 year old college student, so I gave her a little grace.

I just adore the Agitator guys and any time we can get those guys together for some shenanigans, I am all for it!

RELEASE BLITZ & 4 STAR REVIEW: Love...It's Complicated by Jeannine Colette

💙NEW RELEASE💙

LOVE…IT’S COMPLICATED by Jeannine Colette is NOW AVAILABLE!!

What to expect:
💍Wedding Designer Heroine
🚓Handsome Officer Hero
💞Life After Divorce Romance
🏡Small Town Romance
😂Witty Banter and Good Pacing
🔥Steamy Love Scenes
🌀Angsty Plot Twist

Anyone who says love isn’t complicated is a dirty liar. Ask me how I know…

I used to be a normal wife and mother with a perfectly happy life. Now I’m a divorced single mom who spent a night in jail after breaking into the hair salon my ex’s mistress owns.

What can I say? Not my proudest moment.

The only bright spot in that fiasco was the police officer who offered me a sexy, broad shoulder to cry on. William Bronson was a knight in shining armor. A romance novel hero in the flesh.

Then I showed up for work the next day and realized I’d be in charge of planning his fairy tale wedding…to someone else.

And that was just the start of my troubles—romantically and legally (don’t ask).

Now, I need to learn how to navigate my new reality and start building my own happily ever after. I have no idea if it will all end in love…or heartache. All I know for sure is that it’ll be complicated.

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

Melissa is a bit of a hot mess. She has shared custody of her kids and is part owner of a successful business, but her personal life is not great. Melissa is recently divorced and trying to get her life back on track. Her ex has moved on and it's time for her to move on as well. She meets William in one of the more interesting meet cutes I've read in a while. I knew from the start that I would enjoy this book and I was not disappointed.

For me, this book was all about William. At the beginning of the book his personal life is a bit of a mess too, but from the moment he meets Melissa, it's obvious there is an an attraction and connection. William was sweet, considerate, sexy and a VERY patient man. Being in a relationship with Melissa wasn't easy, but he was willing to do what he needed to do to make it work.

RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: Into the Tide by Laura Pavlov

She's my best friend's little sister. Completely off-limits. But every man has his breaking point.

Into the Tide by Laura Pavlov is now live!

Lila James is my best friend's little sister and I've always looked out for her.
She's five years younger than me, and when she left for college, she was just a kid.
But now she's home for the summer--and she's definitely not a kid anymore.
She's beautiful and smart and everything I didn't know I needed.
Dark eyes. Long wavy hair. And legs that are meant to be wrapped around me.
I'm the guy who likes to have a good time.
Keep things light.
When her brother asks me to hire her at my restaurant, it's a no-brainer.
There isn't anything I wouldn't do for her.
Until she asks me for one more favor.
She wants me to be her first.
Take her V-card.
Go where no man has gone before.
Her words, not mine.
And damn if I don't want to go there more than I've ever wanted anything.
She's only here for the summer, and she says it will be our secret.
It's temporary.
We'll go back to being just friends at the end of summer.
She promises that she won't fall for me.
She knows better.
But Lila isn't the one I'm worried about.

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

I recently started reading Laura's backlist and I fell in love with her books. I really enjoy small town romances and this one was so good.

Lila is home for the summer and finds herself working for her brother's best friend, Hugh. You could say that she ends up using the summer as her sexual awakening and Hugh is the one who helps her. I loved these two so much. They had fantastic chemistry and their relationship grew in a very realistic way.

This is a great start to a new series from this author. There is a connection to some of her other series, but there is no need to read them before you start this one.

cw: addiction, childhood neglect resulting in hospitalization

Laura Pavlov writes sweet and sexy contemporary romance that will make you both laugh and cry. She is happily married to her college sweetheart, mom to two awesome almost-grown kids, and dog-whisperer to one temperamental yorkie and one wild bernedoodle. Laura resides in Las Vegas where she is living her own happily ever after. Be sure to sign up for updates on new releases. Laura loves to hear from readers!

4 Star Review: Say You Love Me Again by Carrie Aarons

Who wouldn’t jump at the chance to spend a few months on a concert tour traveling the country? Did I mention that the famous musician headlining it is the ex-husband who walked out on you?

When I met Levi Truin, we were young, rich, famous, and beautiful. Nothing could go wrong, we had the world at our fingertips. Except millions of dollars, marriage and a baby all before twenty two isn’t all fun and games. And when my indiscretion caused it to come crashing down, we were just another Hollywood couple on the cutting room floor.

Seven years later, Levi and I are the poster-children for exemplary co-parenting. Attending red carpet events in support of each other, Sunday night dinners for the sake of our daughter, and her private school functions where we save seats and make polite conversation. The articles paint us in the healthiest of lights, because none of them know the truth.

So when he wants to take our daughter on tour, I have a decision to make. Let her traipse around venues with a nanny, or tag along and somehow survive sleeping in a bunk below my ex for months.

We go on the road, taking our demons and heartbreaks with us. And as we spend nights together with the highway lights flashing past the windows, that familiar spark reignites. Old hurts are discussed, wounds I guard tight are exposed, and my ex-husband makes confessions I’ve been waiting years for. Against all odds, he might just be able to love me again.

But then the dirty details of our long ago breakup get leaked to the press, and the newly fledgling relationship might be doomed from the start.

Lies, silence, and miscommunication are the things that ripped us apart. Can we push past our scars to reunite our family after everything we’ve been through?

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

I've always been a fan of second chance romances and this is an excellent one. I don't think that I've read many books with this trope where the main characters were once married, but I am definitely a fan.

Levi and Sophie are both very famous and in the public eye pretty much all the time. Despite that fact, they have managed to live a somewhat normal life and they are excellent at co-parenting. When Levi goes on tour, the co-parenting gets put to the test in ways they never thought possible.

I loved Levi and Sophie. It was very obvious that they still loved each other, but they had a lot of stuff to work through. Them being on the road and living in close quarters was probably the best thing that could have happened. It basically forced them to do all the talking they never did while they were married.

This book is an emotional one that tackles a subject (CW - postpartum depression) that I can't remember reading about in other books. It plays a big part in the plot and I applaud the author for not only including it, but for handling it in the way she did. Well done Carrie!

About the Author

Author of romance novels such as Fool Me Twice and Love at First Fight, Carrie Aarons writes books that are just as swoon-worthy as they are sarcastic. A former journalist, she prefers the love stories of her imagination, and the athleisure dress code, much better.

When she isn't writing, Carrie is busy binging reality TV, having a love/hate relationship with cardio, and trying not to burn dinner. She lives in the suburbs of New Jersey with her husband, two children and ninety-pound rescue pup.
