Coen literally saves Eden from a burning building. Like he catches here when she has no choice but to jump out the window. She's only 16, but he spends the next two years thinking about her and hoping she is okay. When he receives an invitation to her graduation ceremony/party, everything changes. She is now 18 and he is going to get what is his.
Coen has this whole hero complex thing going and I ever really thought I liked that, but apparently I do. The thing he really wasn't counting on was Eden WANTING to be saved. At first he is taken aback by it, but he quickly comes around when he sees how things are at home.
HOLY. CRAP. This book is ridiculously hot. I mean it helped that the cover is ridiculously sexy and that was what I had in my head the whole time. I want to give Alexa a hug just for the amazing covers...I mean the arm porn! **drools all over her keyboard**
Y'all I CANNOT wait for Alexa's first full length book because every time I read one of their shorts, I finish thinking "I WANT MORE!" Like I know what the point of the short stories are, but they give us these characters that are just begging for more story. I really want to know more about Coen...he's just.....WHOA.
