BLOG TOUR, REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Wicked Fall (Wicked Horse #1) by Sawyer Bennett

Wicked Fall (The Wicked Horse Series Book #1)

Sawyer Bennett
Release Date: July 28, 2015

Never in your wildest dreams could you begin to imagine all the filthy and depraved things that go on inside The Wicked Horse. Step inside and Woolf Jennings will make every one of your dirty fantasies come true.

He’s covered in a facade of deception. An enticing blend of multi-millionaire and hot-as-hell Wyoming rancher, those that think they know Woolf Jennings admire his abilities to preside as CEO of his family’s cattle and oil empire. But only a privileged few truly understand what fuels the glitter of depravity in those gorgeous blue eyes. Only a few know he’s opened up a sinfully erotic and private sex club named The Wicked Horse right at the base of the beautiful Teton Mountain range.

Sweet Callie Hayes has returned home to Wyoming and is looking forward to starting her life over again. After a night of impetuosity, she’s managed to put herself right in Woolf’s line of sight… the man who she foolishly offered up her virginity to years ago and was flatly turned down.

Now Woolf is seeing that Callie is all grown up and has a kinky side to her that leaves him as confused as it does turned on. Worse yet, both Callie’s dirty desires and sweet heart are getting under his skin, and making Woolf question everything he’s ever believed about himself.

My Review

I received an ARC of this book through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

If you read Shaken, Not Stirred from Sawyer's Last Call series, you met Woolf. You also knew that his book was going to be interesting one. And it was. This book is hot. Like take a cold shower/change your underwear while reading it, hot.

Woolf owns a bar that is not just a bar. It's a bar that is also a sex club. An exclusive sex club, The Wicked Horse, that people pay a lot to join. Woolf owns it with his best friend Bridger. And when I say best friend, I mean these two are VERY close. (Bridger intrigued me. There's a story there and I know we will eventually get it and it will be amazing, I just know it.) One night while hanging out in the bar, Woolf see Callie Hayes about to make a huge mistake. The governor's daughter probably shouldn't be taking part in a wet t-shirt contest so Woolf does what he thinks is the right thing. He picks her up and carries her right out of the bar.

That one decision kicks off a chain of events that I can only describe as a ridiculously hot, but sweet love story. Callie and Woolf knew each other growing up. They always liked each other and when Callie tried to give Woolf her virginity, he refused. Callie has returned home after she caught her fiance cheating. She ends up working for Woolf and when the two start spending time together, they are unable to deny their attraction to each other. It's when Callie is working in Woolf's office one day that she discovers the blueprints for The Wicked Horse. She somehow convinces Woolf to take her there. She's curious and wants to see firsthand what happens at a place like that. The last thing Woolf expects is Callie to like it, but she does. While in her last relationship, Callie wasn't able to be the person she really was, but with Woolf she is able to let go.

I loved Callie and Woolf together.
The two of them had a wonderful relationship that not only saw them as lovers, but also friends. It took Woolf some time to see Callie as a grown woman. He always thought of her as this sweet and innocent girl that he couldn't have, but once he realized she was all grown up and more than willing to participate in anything he offered, all bets were off. Meanwhile Callie always had feelings for Woolf, but when he rejected her, she managed to put him out of her mind and move on. Of course when she moved back home and started working for Woolf, those feelings came back tenfold. Their relationship was sweet and romantic, but very sexy and daring at the same time.

When the nature of their relationship becomes public, Woolf makes a giant sacrifice for the woman he loves. Bridger is there to play the best friend and knock some sense into him. He helps Woolf realize what really is important and makes a big decision really easy to make. Up until that moment I liked Bridger, but that made me LOVE him.

I can't wait for the rest of this series. This book ends with an epilogue that will make you want to read the rest of this series. HOLY CRAP. I'm not going to say anything other than I thought this book was hot, but something tells me that the next book is going to bring it to a whole new level. And I can't wait!
