My "go to book list" and a GIVEAWAY!

Everyone once in a while I will finish a book and I'm not quite ready to pick up a new one. But I still want to read, so I go back to a book I have already read. A book that I already know and love want to read again. I may not read the whole thing over again, but just skim some of my favorite parts.

Below are some of those books that I go back to time and time again.

Don't forget to enter the giveaway at the end of this post!

Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan

This book gave me a MASSIVE book hangover and it remains of the best things I have ever read.

When Bree Prescott arrives in the sleepy, lakeside town of Pelion, Maine, she hopes against hope that this is the place where she will finally find the peace she so desperately seeks. On her first day there, her life collides with Archer Hale, an isolated man who holds a secret agony of his own. A man no one else sees.

Archer's Voice is the story of a woman chained to the memory of one horrifying night and the man whose love is the key to her freedom. It is the story of a silent man who lives with an excruciating wound and the woman who helps him find his voice. It is the story of suffering, fate, and the transformative power of love.

Unfixable by Tessa Bailey

I love everything Tessa writes, but this book is one of my favorites. Shane is a Formula One race car driver who also happens to be a sexy Alpha with an Irish accent.  SOLD.

He's the last thing she wants…but the only thing she needs.

Willa Peet isn't interested in love. She's been there, done that, and has the shattered heart to prove it. Ready to shake the breakup, she heads to Dublin, Ireland. But there's a problem. A dark-haired, blue-eyed problem with a bad attitude that rivals her own. And he's not doling out friendly Irish welcomes.

Shane Claymore just wants to race. The death of his father forced him off the Formula One circuit, but he's only staying in Dublin long enough to sell the Claymore Inn and get things in order for his mother and younger sister. He never expected the sarcastic American girl staying at the inn to make him question everything.

But even as Willa and Shane's fiery natures draw them together, their pasts threaten to rip them apart. Can Shane give up racing to be with the woman he loves, or will Willa's quest to resurrect the tough-talking, no-shit-taking girl she used to be destroy any hope of a future together?

Indiscretion Series by Elisabeth Grace

There is a scene in this book that is probably one of the sexiest things I have ever read. Let's just say I can't even think about massages without thinking of this book.

F*ck and chuck. Pump and dump. Hit it and quit it. One night stand. Didn’t matter how I branded it—that’s all she had wanted it to be. That much was clear when she left me with my pants down and my dick still out.

What she hadn’t counted on was fate intervening and our worlds colliding—again.

The day I showed back up in the life of Chloe Griffins, I knew I had to have her again. My body was hungry for another taste. Like an addict, I’d been craving another hit for months, and there she was—flesh and bone, tits and ass.

The fact that she worked for the competition should’ve been reason enough for me to leave her alone. I had a job to do that summer and f*cking Chloe wasn’t part of it. But I was like a man possessed.

I’d do whatever it took to have her again.

Worth the Fall by Claudia Connor

Matt McKinney fell in love with Abby and her children pretty much the moment he met them. And then I fell in love with him.

They meet on a beach. . . . Abby Davis isn’t wearing a skimpy bikini or sipping umbrella drinks, not when she’s busy chasing around four little ones. And Matt McKinney isn’t looking for fun—he’s a Navy SEAL, a grown man with a long list of missions . . . and fallen brothers.

They only have a week. . . . Abby has brought her children to this beach to start over, to give them the enjoyable memories they deserve. Matt’s been sidelined by a combat injury, and haunted by the best friend he lost and the promise he made: to remain a SEAL—focused and dedicated. This leaves no time for what he’s always wanted: a family.

But a week is all it takes. . . . Matt opens her heart while Abby soothes his soul. And though they plan to say good-bye when the week is over, something magical happens on that beach, something neither can forget. Something utterly, completely worth falling for.

Locke by Harper Sloan

There is just something about Maddox Locke that made me love him even before Harper wrote his book. He makes appearances throughout the whole series, but once I read his story, he cemented his spot on my book boyfriend list.

Darkness is the only thing I see. Ever since the day my life changed. The day that everything and everyone I held close to me ceased to exist. The day I lost it all and the demons of my past consumed my every waking moment.

I tried to keep others at arm’s length. Tried not to let my darkness taint them. Ruin them. Harm them. And whether I want to admit it or not, as much as I wish I could keep them locked out, they refuse to leave. Refuse to let me suffer alone.

If I hadn’t been so focused on keeping those demons from flying free, I wouldn’t have missed how one perfect angel was able to sneak her way under my skin—refusing to let go. Making me want things I don’t deserve.

She consumes me. Her beauty knows no end. The love she promises tempts me every time she’s near. But that pure heart that makes her MY Emmy is the one thing I’m convinced I’ll destroy if I ever let her close.

I’m a broken man. A broken man with too much darkness in his soul to ever let her light shine upon me. But even that doesn’t stop me from craving her with every single breath in my body.

Start Me Up by Victoria Dahl

Victoria Dahl knows how to write a sexy book, but for me, this one may be her sexiest. It's a friends to lovers book that has them acting out the sex scenes from the books the heroine reads. Pretty much the definition of HOT.

Lori had always planned to get out of tiny Tumble Creek, Colorado, but when her late dad left her his beloved auto body shop, she'd stayed. Now, according to her crazy best friend, Molly, what Lori needs is some excitement, in the form of hot, no-strings-attached sex...and lots of it.

Quinn Jennings has buildings on the brain--not love and romance. A serious architect, he's delighted to discover that Lori is willing to skip dating protocols and head straight for the sheets. And aided by the steamy books on Lori's bedside table, he's busy indulging both of their wildest fantasies. But when life in Tumble Creek takes a dangerous turn for Lori, Quinn's protective instincts kick in.

Suddenly he cares. More than either of them ever expected...

Charlotte Chronicles by Jen Frederick

This story of true love destroyed me. The author released a new chapter in a weekly newsletter and it quickly became the first thing I read when I woke up on Friday morning.

Charlotte and Nathan were supposed to be forever. They grew up together. Their families were intertwined. Charlotte was Nathan's first love. Nathan was Charlotte's first everything.

Until they weren't.

How do you hold on to the person you know in your heart you are supposed to be with when everything and everyone in the universe is telling you it's over?

How many times does a heart break?
When is enough…..enough?
How long is forever?

Beautiful Player by Christina Lauren

WILL. AND. HANNA. This book is my favorite of the Beautiful Bastard series. These two were ridiculously hot (Nerds can be sexy too!) and I can't wait until their next books comes out. Is it 2016 yet?

A bombshell bookworm. A chronic Casanova. And a lesson in chemistry too scandalous for school.

When Hanna Bergstrom receives a lecture from her overprotective brother about neglecting her social life and burying herself in grad school, she’s determined to tackle his implied assignment: get out, make friends, start dating. And who better to turn her into the sultry siren every man wants than her brother’s gorgeous best friend, Will Sumner, venture capitalist and unapologetic playboy?

Will takes risks for a living, but he’s skeptical about this challenge of Hanna’s…until the wild night his innocently seductive pupil tempts him into bed- and teaches him a thing or two about being with a woman he can’t forget. Now that Hanna’s discovered the power of her own sex appeal, it’s up to Will to prove he’s the only man she’ll ever need.

  9. Hi, Kimmy ~ Thanks for the great opportunity! Sharing your giveaway to Happily Ever Chapter.
    1)
I could read the McKinney boys over and over again. Matt and Abby were SUCH a perfect story, omg! Alas, I own them both and pre-ordered Worth It All months ago already. Another series that I've re-read is the HORNET series by Tonya Burrows (Her Wilde series is great too, and interconnects with the HORNET series to a degree). I've read "The Perfect Play" by Jaci Burton a few times as well (I never get tired of that COVER!).
    2)
You've got me quite intrigued by the Indiscretion series, so I think I'd choose it if I were the winner.
