Just as he demanded earlier, my hands go to his shoulders on my own accord and as he takes my body hard, my nails dig in with my heels still pushing hard against the small of his back. Our eyes never leave each other’s probing gaze. Never once do I take my eyes away from his, so full of lust that I know there isn’t an ounce of control left in his body.
He drops his head and I lift up to meet him in a kiss so sweet it doesn’t match the powerful way that he’s taking my body. A kiss that gives me more than words ever could at this moment. His hips slow and as his tongue rolls against mine, his hips start to take me in slow, deep rolls. He doesn’t pull back, just rocks his hips against mine.
I push up and cry out when he slips even deeper.
His lips come from mine and his hooded eyes open a sliver. “Feels like heaven,” he says softly. “Everything, darlin’. Feels like everything.”

HOLY CRAP. Liam Beckett. I don't even know how to describe him. He's sweet. Loving. Sexy. Funny. Loyal. Persistent. I would definitely put him on my list of book boyfriends that I want to "Weird Science." Megan was a tough nut to crack, but he stuck around and did the cracking, even when it broke his heart to do it.
From the moment he met Megan, Liam knew that she was the one for him. Megan befriends Dani and instantly becomes part of the family. Axel & Izzy start to think of Megan's daughter, Molly, as their own grandchild and I loved the scenes where they would babysit. Molly had Axel and Nate wrapped around her little finger and it so freaking adorable. Big burly dudes dressed up like princesses....PRICELESS.
Megan is the way she is for a reason. She is quiet and guarded and it isn't until Dani & Cohen's wedding that she lets loose. And by let loose I mean have extremely amazing sex with Liam. But what Liam doesn't know is that she is holding on to a major secret which leads her to harbor extreme feelings of guilt. She tries to withdraw from him and put their time together as a one time thing, but Liam is having non of that! Unbeknownst to Megan, Liam has made a list. A list of things that will make Megan feel alive. He knows that she hasn't really been living her life to the fullest and he wants to help prove to her that she still can. It's actually a great plan and Liam is the perfect person to pull it off.
Liam. Liam. Liam. What else can I say about him? That man has the patience of a saint. Most women probably would have fallen at Liam's feet as soon as he gave any interest. But not Megan. She made him work for what he wanted. Sure she had her reasons, but even once she told Liam her secret and he was nothing but understanding, she was still wary. Luckily for her he was in this for the long haul and stood by her side.
At one point Liam goes to see his parents, Dee & Beck and when he tells them about Megan, you can't help but see the parallels between their story and his story. Liam is just like his father and while Dee was a little but more of a spitfire than Megan is, I couldn't help but smile. I knew that with the support of his parents as well as his friends, he was going to win Megan over in no time. .
Bleeding Love is a great addition to the series. I can't wait to see how the rest of it plays out. I like that we get a little of the Corps Security gang in each book. I enjoy the little trips down memory lane that we get and they make me want to go back and read it again those books again.
(Oh and that cover.....can't stop staring at it!)
