Brooklyn has a choice to make. She is torn between following her dream and returning home to the family business. Growing up in the MMA world had it's perks, but after getting her heart broken, she left to follow her dreams. But when her family calls, she answers. Knowing she will only be there for the summer helps, but that doesn't stop the temptation of possibly sticking around for longer. 

And that temptation comes in the form of Shane Knox, the rising MMA fighter whose career took a nosedive, but is now determined to get back to the top. The moment he meets Brooklyn, Shane knows that she is different from every other girl he's known. And he is determined to know her better. Even though she thinks it will be a terrible idea. 

Let's talk about Shane for a second...HOLY ALPHA MALE HOTNESS. I freaking loved him! I'm such a sucker for a tough guy who is really just a big ol' softie. There is so much more to Shane than his fighting. And once Brooklyn gets to know him, she can't help but like him. And that's when the fun starts!

This book had plenty of action in and out of the ring and I can't wait to read more! Especially since the next book in the series is a best friends turned lovers story!!
