RELEASE BLITZ & 5 STAR REVIEW: We Own Tonight by Corinne Michaels

From New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestselling author Corinne Michaels, comes a sexy new STANDALONE romance novel.
WE OWN TONIGHT is available now!

I’m not a one-night stand kind of woman. I’m especially not the woman who has a few drinks at a concert and ends up in bed with my childhood celebrity crush, Eli Walsh.

However, that’s exactly where I find myself.

What’s a girl to do after a drunken mistake? Run. I grab my clothes and get away from the powerful, irresistible, and best-sex-of-my-life superstar as fast as I can. His gorgeous green eyes, rock-hard body, and cocky smile have no place in my world. My life is complicated enough.

Someone forgot to tell him that.

Eli is relentless. Pushing his way into my heart, wearing me down, proving he’s nothing like I assumed, and everything I need. But when my world shatters to pieces, he holds the broken bits together. Unwillingly, I fall desperately in love with him.

He made me think we’d have forever . . . I should’ve listened when he said we could only own tonight.

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

Remember when you were young and you used to daydream about your favorite boy band member? What they were really like or if you met them in real life, if you would get along? No? Just me? Move over every boy band member I've ever had a crush on...Eli is now my #1 boy band man!

When the book opens, Heather is getting ready to go to a concert to see her favorite boy band that includes her childhood crush Eli Walsh. She is more than overdue to let her hair down and have a night of fun, and is doing just that when the night takes a (positive) turn and finds herself up close and personal with the man himself. You know when a singer picks that one person out of a crowd, brings them on stage and sings to them? Yeah. THAT. Pretty much every teenage girl's fantasy come true. Except Heather is a grown woman who ends up doing some very grown up things. It's fantastic and also quite funny.

From the moment Eli sees Heather in the audience, he wants her. And he gets her. But to his surprise, he realizes afterwards that he also wants to keep her. And that proves to be the hard part of all of this. Heather was married once before and was badly burned. Her personal life is very complicated and she can't imagine why anyone like Eli would want to get involved with her. It turns out that even though Eli is famous, he is also very down to earth. And VERY charming. That charm (and persistence) is what finally convinces Heather to give Eli a chance.

And thank god she did! The two of them together were absolutely AMAZING. They got a long like a house on fire and their relationship was fun to watch. So many things stood in their way of having a normal relationship, but they were able to find a happy medium. Eli kept surprising Heather along the way, reassuring her that he was the man for her. And everything seems to be going great until Heather has to prove that she is the woman for him. And yes, I know that is vague, but I don't want to give anything away. Trust me, just read the book.

Once again, Corinne wrote a story that made me ugly cry my eyes out and shake my fist at her. By the time I was done, I was severely dehydrated, my eyes hurt and I had a headache from crying, but I absolutely LOVED every single word! And fingers crossed that she writes more books in this world. There are some great secondary characters that I want to know more about.
