RELEASE BLITZ, 5 STAR REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Writing Mr. Right by T.K. Leigh

Title: Writing Mr. Right
Author: T.K. Leigh
Genre: Romantic Comedy

Release Date: June 26, 2017

My name is Molly Brinks, but most people know me as Vivienne Foxx, bestselling author of chance meetings, stolen glances, and the much-needed happily ever after. My addictions include coffee, home improvement television, and the occasional pint of ice cream. The love of my life is an eighty-pound labrador retriever named Pee Wee. At the age of twenty-nine-plus-one, I am at the top of my game…professionally. My personal life is a completely different story, one best left untold. Success has its sacrifices and I’ve been more than happy to put my search for Prince Charming on the back burner while I create fictitious tales of the naïve virgin, the broken girl with a torrid past, and the strong-willed student finding their own Mr. Right… Until one hell of a case of writer’s block and a tight deadline set by my publisher forces me outside my cozy downtown Boston apartment in search of inspiration.

Armed with an account on every dating website out there, I devise a plan. Meet some nice, professional men. Go on a few dates. Hope one of them has the spark I need to finish my book. Then walk away.

But plans are meant to be broken.

My name is Molly Brinks, and this is my story about Writing Mr. Right.

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

Molly doesn't believe in real love. Her mother left her father. Her brother's wife left him and their daughters. As far as she is concerned, real love does not exist. So Molly has no problem getting into relationships only for the sex. And she uses those experiences to help write her books. Only a few people know about her author alter ego Vivienne Foxx and she wants to keep it that way. So when on the guy she is "dating" wants her to open up and give more of herself to their relationship, Molly can't do it and they break up. Now she finds herself with writer's block and unable to deliver on her contract. But when Molly meets her father's doctor, Noah, EVERYTHING she thought to be true gets turned upside down.

When Molly decides that she needs to start dating in order to break her writer's block, she goes on a series of hilarious dates and unfortunately, none of them help. But what does help is an encounter with Noah. The two form a friendship that quickly turns into so much more. Noah understands Molly. He likes her quirks and the two of them have fun when they are together. And Noah is just the SWOONIEST. OMG. I loved him so much. There are so many moments in this book that made me swoon and wish I could find my own Noah.
Emerging onto the sidewalk, I drew in a long breath of the humid Boston night air. An uncontrollable smile formed on my lips as warmth radiated through every inch of my body. Tonight was better than I could have imagined. Watching Noah converse so effortlessly with the most important people in my life meant more to me than I think he realized.
My fingers intertwined with Noah’s as we shuffled the few steps from the front door of Drew’s apartment building, past the entrance to the café, and toward my apartment. I unlocked the door, pulling Noah alongside me. To my surprise, he withdrew his hand, hesitating on my front stoop.
“What is it?” I turned to face him, my brows furrowed.
“Molly…” He brought himself up to the same step I was on, brushing an errant curl behind my ear. I loved the feel of his fingers on my skin. It made me feel alive. I met his eyes, a look of complete satisfaction staring back at me. “I’d love nothing more than to come up, but I don’t think I should.”
“You don’t want to sleep with me?” I swallowed hard, wondering whether Brooklyn or Drew had said something to change his mind since our conversation in the park.
“That’s not it at all.” He dragged my body to his. Leaning down, he softly tugged on my earlobe with his teeth. His tongue traced circles, igniting the fire in my core. “I want nothing more than to sleep with you, to make your body do things you never thought possible.” He abruptly pulled back. His sensual tone turned endearing. “But I want to prove to you that I want you for you, not for any other reason.”
“I know that,” I replied. “You don’t have to prove anything to me.” I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him closer. His lips were a whisper away and I was desperate to taste them again, to taste every inch of him.
“Let me do this.” He gazed upon me with earnest. This was obviously important to him. “I don’t want you to think I’m only spending time with you in the hopes of ending up in bed together. I want to show you we can have just as much fun outside the bedroom as we can inside.” He pulled back, clutching my hands in his. “I don’t want to just have a fling with you. I want to date you. So please, let me date you.”
A satisfied smile crossed my mouth as I stood on my toes. Meeting his crystal blue eyes, I did something I’d never done before. I gave a very handsome man a kiss goodnight after he walked me to my front door. I went to bed more fulfilled with just that one kiss than I ever thought possible.
*sigh* I just love Noah so much.

Noah was exactly what Molly needed to not only get out of her writing funk, but to also rid her of the whole "true love isn't real" notion. Everything he did was to prove her otherwise. It was awesome and I loved every word of this book!

Now on to the next book. In the first chapter of this book we meet Molly's brother Drew. I immediately liked him and thought "OMG. Single father, ex hockey player, awesome older brother...HE HAS TO GET HIS OWN BOOK!" And he is...with Molly's best friend Brooklyn as his love interest! Woo hoo!
