When I found an eviction notice taped on my apartment door, I had two options: find a comfortable cardboard box to call home, or move in with Tucker Jameson.

Seeing that cardboard makes me feel itchy, I chose the latter. Which shouldn't be that big of a deal since Tucker is one of my good friends. And because he's still pining after his ex-girlfriend and I'm trying to finish my nursing degree, there is nothing to worry about in the romance department, making my last semester an easy one to conquer.

Boy, was I wrong.

Rules are set, dinners are made, conversations are had, and a shirtless, swoony roommate walks around in nothing but a pair of black briefs, ruining me for every other man.

Before I know it, I turn into a panting, lust-filled woman begging for Tucker to kiss me, touch me, and show me exactly what is hiding under those briefs.

But with great orgasms, comes great consequences.

Tucker might be my friend and roommate but he’s also my best friend's ex-boyfriend, making him completely off-limits. At least that's what my brain is telling me, my heart is speaking an entirely different language.

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

Tucker has been going through the motions since his ex girlfriend broke up with him. He wakes up, goes to work, goes back to the house he bought when he thought he knew exactly what his future was going to be, goes to bed, and then gets up and does it all over again. Meanwhile, Emma, who is friends with both Tucker and his ex, suddenly finds herself without a place to live. It's been a while since she has seen him, but when they run into each other while at a bar one night, Tucker suggests that she move in with him. He has more than enough room and he finds the idea of having someone else in the house with him comforting. When his offer becomes her last chance to have a roof over her head, she takes it.

Good lord, I loved these two so much. Tucker was stuck in a never ending cycle of a boring life. When Emma moved in, she slowly started adding color to his very black and white life. Their conversations, while seemingly innocent, start to take on a whole new context, which in turn makes both Emma and Tucker aware of the effect they have on each other. Even Tucker's coworkers/friends notice the change in him. His home, one that Tucker uses to hate going home to, starts to slowly become the one place he wants to be. And all because Emma is there. And don't even get me started on how freaking sweet Tucker is with Emma. Book boyfriend material to the extreme!! And sexy? WOW. There are a few parts that are totally cold shower worthy.

But of course thanks to events in their past, especially Tucker, they both have things to overcome before they can truly be together. And I just want to say from about 90% on, I just wept while reading it. I was so invested in Tucker and Emma's relationship, and yes, I knew that HEA was coming, but I didn't care. It was heartbreaking, but so romantic at the same time. And can I just say, I love it when a guy has to grovel and OH MY GOD DID TUCKER SHOW UP FOR THIS. *SWOON* He definitely would win gold in the grovel Olympics if that was a real thing. (It should though, shouldn't it? haha.)

Here's the thing...I read C0-Wrecker and I loved it. And while Tucker is an important part of that story, I finished it feeling a bit "meh" about him. I didn't like him, but I also didn't hate him. And then I forgot about him. Cut to me reading the beginning of this book, a light bulb going off and me being like: "OH SNAP! This book is about that Tucker? I AM IN!" And it was awesome.

Another fantastic book by Meghan and Thank you for giving us their story.

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if "It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing... enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
