COVER & BLURB REVEAL: Ear Candy by M.E. Carter and Andrea Johnston

Title: Ear Candy
Genre: Contemporary Romantic Comedy
Release date: 2/8/19
Charity: The Guardians Foundation, Inc.

He’s the plot twist she didn’t hear coming.

Becoming a book narrator was never my goal. But if your deep voice tempts romance listeners to swoon and throw their proverbial panties at you, plans change.

When an unexpected chain of events rockets my easy-going and chill life in a completely different direction, I tackle it like I do everything—with humor, wit, and a little bit of my “Hawk Weaver” charm.

That’s not a hardship, though, because it means establishing a friendship with erotic romance author, Donna Moreno. She’s a game changer. In all the best ways.

~

As an over-thirty single woman who writes erotica for a living, you would think I spend my days fighting off every handsome, dirty-mouthed billionaire in a twenty-mile radius. I don’t. Sure, I have a checklist for my ideal man who I write in my books. I just haven’t found “the one” in the real world.

Todd Chimolski may not check all the boxes on my current list, but there’s something to be said for a friend who makes you laugh and puts on a suit to make all your fantasies come true.

Hearing him bring the words I’ve written to life is nothing short of an eargasm, and that’s a box I didn’t know I needed checked.

What happens when the woman who writes sexy romance and the man who narrates it build a friendship that quickly turns to more?

COVER & BLURB REVEAL: Famed by Magan Vernon

FAMED by Magan Vernon
Release Day: June 6th
Imperfect Love Kindle Worlds

On the heels of Mary James leaked sex tape - totally a fake one to make her boyfriend jealous she might add- she needs some PR help if she ever wants her acting career to end up in a fiery hell like her love life.

Chris Garcia has been working his way up from mail room clerk to junior associate at Tate & Cane and now to get to the next rung of the corporate ladder he has to take on the firm's toughest client: Mary James.

With a little help from a nosey Aunt Rosita and Mama Garcia, the two decide the best way to move forward is simple: a fake relationship.

But what happens when something fake gets to be too real and FAME gets involved?

EXCERPT

She leaned forward, her warm breath a whisper on my lips. “Thank you for showing me that there’s more to life than the city. Or to do things just for PR stunts.”

Before I could respond, she crushed her lips to mine, her hands going to my shoulders and pulling me closer to her, so I almost fell on top of her onto the plush leather seats.

“Hey! No sex back there. You’ll ruin the leather!” Lance yelled, causing a giggle to escape her sweet lips as she broke our kiss, pressing her forehead to mine.

“Want me to move?” I asked, staring into her bright blue eyes, shimmering in the light from the street lamps.

“Only if you’re moving closer,” she whispered before sealing my lips with hers again.

Being with her, and feeling that hot little body against mine could make me forget that this was just for business. That we were just supposed to be a publicist and client.

And the way her soft little moans escaped her lips and her hands roamed over my back; it made me forget all about work and just think about the feel of her soft skin. How much more of it I wanted to see.

Before I could even have more lustful thoughts, Lance took a sharp turn, causing both of us to go flying in the other direction.

“Lance!” Mary hissed, sitting up as I went back to my seat, adjusting the very large bulge in my pants that was now straining.

“Sorry. Something in the road,” Lance said with a smile, glancing at Brian out of the corner of his eye.

“I guess they aren’t on team LoChri,” I said, taking Mary’s hand on her lap and intertwining our fingers.

“LoChri? Not exactly the best ship name,” she quipped.

“Lourdes and Christiano. LoChri.” I traced her knuckles with my thumb.

“If it’s going to be a ship name in the media we should probably use Mary and Chris. Or even James and Garcia. But that almost sounds like some sort of Badass cop duo or something,” Mary said, lowering her voice. “James and Garcia, here to see about a robbery.”

“I think LoChri sounds good. Sexy even,” I said, slowly running my thumb for her knuckles, down to the soft flesh of her leg where her dress line ended.

“Jarcia. No. Not that either. Maybe…hmmm…” She moved our intertwined hands up her thigh until my knuckles pressed against her damp panties.

I raised an eyebrow, and she bit down on her bottom lip slightly before a smile crossed her lips.

“MaChri?” I asked, running my thumb along the center of her soaked center.

“Hmmm…I guess that’s not bad. But I think you could do better. Go deeper maybe,” she said in a husky tone.

Without even thinking, I pushed aside the wet fabric of her panties and slid one finger inside of her. She was completely bare and already so wet, her body clamping around me and damn if that didn’t have my cock straining against my zipper.

“Keep going. I know you’ve got something good in there.” She turned, her eyes meeting mine as she kept one hand on mine beneath her dress and the other to my face.

I smirked, sliding a second finger inside of her and moving my thumb to draw circles over her clit. She arched her back, her eyes widening as she let out a shaky breath.

“Do you want me to stop coming up with names?” I asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Don’t. Stop.” she breathed, arching her hips forward and pushing me deeper inside of her.

I grinned, feeling the pressure of her walls as I rubbed her clit while hooking and twirling my finger inside of her.

“I still think MaChri is the best,” I murmured. God, she was hot the way her eyelids fluttered, and she clenched around me, so close I could almost taste it.

“I think you’re close,” she whispered.

“I think you are.” I crushed my lips to hers as she clenched hard around me, her moan escaping into my mouth as I quickened my pace, letting her come down from her orgasm then build up to a new one, letting out another sweet and glorious moan. Slowly I moved my fingers back to the side of her panties, a soft whimper escaping her lips as if she missed the feel of me.

I’d been with quite a few girls, but none responded to me the way Mary’s body did. I vowed to keep it professional and to think this wasn’t real, but after feeling her come twice on my fingers, all I could think about is how good she would feel riding me.

“So…you like that ship name?” I asked, smiling into her lips once we’d broken the kiss.

“I think I liked something,” she whispered, placing another soft kiss on my mouth then resting her head on my shoulder.

COVER & BLURB REVEAL: Unsupervised by Cora Kenborn

UNSUPERVISED by CORA KENBORN
Release Day: June 6th

Imperfect Love Kindle Worlds

Niall

I have twenty-eight days to find the perfect wife…

On paper, it seems like I need a life coach, but I’ve managed to get a decent grip on the single-dad thing. As a sought-after photographer with a sexy Irish accent, I have no problem attracting women. Especially crazy ones who can’t take no for an answer. But now, I’m backed in a corner, and both mine and my daughter’s futures are being threatened.

The plan is simple: find a fake fiancée, introduce her at my company’s gala, and save my job. A chance meeting with a tall, leggy blonde who looks like she could use a night out is the perfect solution. Beautiful, sane, and she has a kid? We have a winner.

The relationship is a ruse, but I didn’t count on her being unforgettable. A lie brought us together, but now I have no intention of letting her go.

Laken

I can’t buy my way onto Madison Avenue…

I didn’t bust my ass in college to be a nanny. Unfortunately, a 4.0 GPA and sucking up did nothing to secure me a coveted Tate & Cane internship. I’m not proud of being a nanny-for-hire to get my foot in the door, but my wealthy employer has connections, so I do what I need to—until one outrageous proposal changes everything.

In one afternoon, I find myself fake engaged with a fake new family. I’m not a liar, but he assumes the kid is mine. I should set the record straight. There’s only one problem. My new “fiancé” is a photographer for Tate & Cane. He’s my “in.”

If I can hold on to this charade long enough, I can get the job and the man of my dreams. I’m winging this completely unsupervised. Game on.

EXCERPT

Laken gives me an accusing stare as if I have some grand scheme in choosing her. “Why me?”

“Why not?”

“That’s not an answer,” she argues shaking her head. “What’s in it for me?”

“You said you need a job, right? I have connections, and I can get you in front of people who make those kinds of decisions for my company.” Frustrated this isn’t going as easily as I’d hoped, I slump back into my chair. “Bloody hell, woman, anyone else would do it just for the opportunity to walk into a Tate & Cane party.”

Laken suddenly stills. “I’m sorry, did you say Tate & Cane?”

“Yes, and for some reason, I also want to help you. I think you deserve a break.” I let out a harsh breath and start packing up my shit to leave. “But if you aren’t interested, then—”

“Yes!” she screams, causing more than a couple patrons to glance our way.

“Are you sure you don’t want to think about it?”

“It’s just one night, right? It shouldn’t be that hard. A few hours of pretending to like each other won’t kill me.”

I scowl at her. “You’re amazing for a guy’s ego, you know that?”

“So, how do we do this?” she says, ignoring my jab. “Do we just meet there and make out on the dance floor?”

Fuck, this is going to be a hell of a lot more work than I anticipated. “While you make it sound quite enticing, it’s a little more involved than that.”

“How so?”

I study her face for a moment. What we’re doing is risky, and walking into a Tate & Cane lion’s den without being prepared is stupid. Gloria will come armed and ready, so we have to be more than ready. “Give me your number. I think we should get to know each other a little. They may ask questions, and we’ll need to be prepared to rattle off personal details about each other.”

Laken sucks in a deep breath as if I just asked her to swim naked in a tank of starved piranhas. “You want to go out on a date?”

“Okay, we really need to work on you not making that face every time you think about spending time alone with me. It’s kind of a dead giveaway.” I squeeze the bridge of my nose, knowing we have more work ahead of us than we have time. “Have you never played poker in your life?”

She’s quiet for a moment and appraises my face as if she’s waiting for a punchline that never comes. “I’m a business major, Niall. Not a gambler.”

“Ante up, Miss Cavanaugh. The stakes are about to raise.” Reaching into my pocket, I pull out my cell phone and punch in her name. “Now give me your number.”

After a moment’s hesitation, she finally gives it to me, and I type that in as well. Once I hit enter, I follow it up with the call button and her phone rings. Raising an eyebrow, she digs it out of her backpack and answers.

“Hello?”

“This is Niall Mackay. Now you have my phone number. Program this shit in as My Darling Big Dick Fiancé.”

Laken wrinkles up her nose and makes a face. “You’re disgusting.”

“Aye, the loving way you talk to me is why I fell in love with you, my future fake wife.”

COVER & BLURB REVEAL: Battle of the Sexes by Adriana Locke

BATTLE OF THE SEXES by ADRIANA LOCKE
Release Day: June 6th
Imperfect Love Kindle Worlds

BATTLE OF THE SEXES

Carver Jones’ partner at Jones + Gallum had to step down for medical reasons. He’s absolutely devastated. He swears. Just ignore his cheeky grin, okay?

When word reaches his fancy corner office that Gallum is replacing himself with his daughter, Amity, Carver is ecstatic.

For real this time.

Jones squashes men in the business industry flat. A woman? Pfst. He’ll be completely in charge in no time, doing whatever he wants. He’s so ready for this.

But is he ready to fight the hardest fight of his life? No, not the one to maintain control of his company. The one to keep control of his heart.

The battle may begin in the boardroom, but the war will definitely be won in the bedroom. May the best sex win.

EXCERPT

“There’s a woman here to see you, Mr. Jones,” Marisa chirps through the line.

“Send her in.”

Swiping a set of files from the corner of my desk, I spread them in front of me in a haphazard, I’ve-been-doing-this-all-day, kind of way. Not that I haven’t been working since before the sun came up. I have. But that’s not the point.

The point is this: first impressions matter most. It sets the stage for every other interaction, regardless of the relationship. And the relationship I’m about to have with Amity Gallum, as co-CEO’s of Jones + Gallum, will be the most important one in my life.

Hell, it might be the only one in my life, but that’s irrelevant.

The door handle flicks. I bow my head and appear to be so invested in the numbers in front of me that I don’t hear it. I’ll force her to break the ice. I don’t break for anyone.

My stomach begins to knot as I wait for her to say something. I imagine her standing in the doorway, a load of binders in her hand, as she looks at me over the top of those clunky glasses she wore when we were kids. I hope to God she upgraded those in the last twenty years.

Frustration grows with each second she doesn’t bother to speak, and after more moments than I care to admit, I finally look up.

Holy. Shit.

One thing is clear—this isn’t Amity Gallum. There’s no way this stunner is the braces-wearing, freckle-faced, nerdy little girl I knew in elementary school. No. Freaking Way.

After making a quick mental note to tell Marisa to not assume I know who is here to see me, I feast my eyes on the voluptuous visitor. My lips twist into a smirk as I try to keep myself composed. “Good afternoon,” I say smoothly.

“Yes, it is.”

It takes every bit of effort I can manage to keep my jaw from dropping. Even after all this time, I recognize that voice.

Black stilettos do nothing but extend long, lean legs that are capped off with a black skirt. A white top, rounded at the chest by a full set of tits, has a tailored black jacket on top. Loose, blonde curls touch her shoulders.

She. Definitely. Upgraded.

“Can I help you?” I grin, rifling through all the ways I can--and hope to be--helping her later.

Her blue eyes pin me to my chair, clearly unamused by my reaction to her “fuck me” body. “No, but I can help you find a restraining order if you don’t stop looking at me like that, Carver.”

“Like what?” I grin.

“Like you’re a ten-year-old boy that wants to pick me for Seven Minutes in Heaven.”

“You still think about that?”

“Yes,” she smiles. “You come to mind any time any guy is being an asshole.”

With a half-laugh, I try to rebound. “That’s no way to talk to your boss.”

A fire lights up her eyes. “Let’s get one thing straight: you are not my boss. We are co-CEO’s of this company.” Her narrow shoulders throw back, her mouth forming a tight, thin line. “If you think you’re going to bend me over, you have another think coming.”

“Do you prefer another position?”

“I don’t like you,” she glares. “I won’t like you. And,” she says, storming in and getting comfortable on the sofa across from my desk, “if you get in my way, I will make you pay.”

Challenge accepted.

COVER & BLURB REVEAL: The Run in by Kelly Elliott

THE RUN IN by Kelly Elliott
Release Day: June 6th
Imperfect Love Kindle Worlds

BLURB

Becoming the new Marketing Manager at Tate and Cane was a game changer. I was hell bent on proving I deserved this job, and that it wasn’t my cousin Sterling Quinn who had helped me score the new job title. Him being one of the CEO’s best friend—didn’t help the rumors.
Well screw that.

Ten years of sweat and hard work was the reason I was sitting in a large corner office with a killer Manhattan view. More focused than I’d ever been, it was time to take the bull by the horns.

And God help the person who stood in in my way.

********

Things I left behind in Seattle, Washington: A promising career at a top marking firm, the past I was desperate to escape, and obviously my sense of direction. It was because of all of those reasons I was standing in the middle of New York City lost and cursing at my phone.

If I didn’t get to Tate and Cane soon, I wouldn’t only be late, but also blow the chance to make the good impression on my new boss, Mason Quinn. And I needed that more than anything.

One wrong turn, an unfortunate collision, and an expensive suit drenched in my soy chia tea latte was not how I wanted to start my first day.

Then there was the other little problem I had. The drop dead gorgeous man whose suit I’d ruined was my new boss.

And boy did he look pissed.

EXCERPT

A gentleman was walking by and I put on my best smile and asked, “Excuse me, could you point me to the elevators?”

He glared at me like I had committed a crime by speaking to him. He pointed, huffed, then rushed out the door.
“Thank you!” I called out after him. A smile on my face because I knew that annoyed the jack ass even more.

Adjusting my bag and purse over my shoulder, I turned and headed the way he had told me only to come to a small little restaurant.

Ugh! Asshole!

Whirling around, I took a right and decided to head the other way. The elevators had to be toward the middle of the lobby. I could go left or right. Which way?

“Shit, why is this stressing me out?” I whispered.

Left. No right. No left.

I went right and immediately ran smack into someone.

“Motherfucker!” he cried out as my precious soy chai tea latte drenched him.

“Oh, my gosh! I’m so sorry. I didn’t see you!”

“No fucking shit you didn’t see me!”

Ahh the people of New York City.

Reaching into my bag, I grabbed a few napkins and attempted to wipe the drink off his expensive as hell looking suit.

“Did you not look where you were going?” he asked in an angry tone.

Not looking up at him, I replied, “Well, were you looking where you were going asshole?”

When in Rome, right?

He grabbed my wrist and I gasped at the electric shock that ran through my body. Jerking my eyes up at him, I opened my mouth to demand he let me go when I stopped.

Holy. Shit.

The guy standing in front of me was hella good looking. No. He was more than good looking. Could someone be beyond good looking? Handsome wasn’t the right word, he was beyond that too. His warm honey eyes were staring into my hazel and for a moment, it looked like he was just as stunned as I was.

No. No I knew that look. He was pissed. There was no way a guy this freaking hot would ever look at me with such intensity in his eyes. I was nothing special. My blonde hair was pulled up and I had decided to go light on my make-up today. Mascara and a light coat of powder and a hint of blush were all that grazed my face.

Yet. He was staring at me with a look I’d never seen before in a guy’s eye. Then he furrowed his brows.

Oh yeah. He’s pissed.

“Did you call me an asshole?”

Ugh. He’s one of those guys. God forbid a woman speak her mind.

I returned his stare and focused on my voice being strong and clear. “I did, and if you don’t let go of me, my knee is going to be connecting with your dick in less than five seconds.”

His head slowly tilted to the side and the corners of his mouth rose into the sexiest smile I’d ever seen on a man.

EXCERPT

“Hey, mate. Whatcha staring at over here, eh?”

Gesturing with my glass to the stunning image in the mirror, that wild hair of hers, the elegant column of her neck as she throws her head back and laughs, “Fannin.”

“Ahhh, that’s her then?” He whistles between his teeth. “I can see the appeal. Introduce us.” Theo slaps my back and walks to stand in front of Fannin and Shelby, waiting for me. Taking another sip, I join them.

“Ladies, this is the manager of the Iron Flask, Theo Carre. Theo this beauty here is Fannin McGuire, and her gorgeous friend is Shelby Mends. I believe you had the pleasure of speaking to both of them earlier today.” I watch as my oldest friend clasps Shelby’s hand and then Fannin’s, holding hers between his two larger ones and saying something that I can’t hear but makes her smile shyly.

Shoving him playfully, I go to stand beside Fannin’s seat, caging her in with one hand on the bar and the other on the back of her stool. “What did I tell you? Reputation.”

“Oh, that’s rich coming from you, king of the kilt over here. Watch out for him, Fannin. He’ll seduce you with whisky and that plaid skirt of his,” Theo throws back.

“Cheeky fucker. King of the kilt?” I grumble with absolute zero heat. “Go manage something, why don’t ya?”

He laughs, “I’m actually getting ready to go through all the things you ladies sent over after our conference call. Brilliant ideas.”

“Oh good. I hope that they’re what the owner and your team are looking for. I love spending time in here -- it’s really helped with my brainstorming,” Fannin tells him as Shelby nods in agreement.

“The owner will love it. Not that it matters since I’m in charge here.” He winks at them. “It’s been a pleasure, enjoy the rest of your evening. Drinks are all on Jasper.” He gives a little wave and makes his way to the office.

“He seems really nice.”

“Aye, he’s a good one. We’ve been friends since we were just wee lads actually. Went to secondary school together, what you all call ‘high school,’ and then to Uni.” I still have her caged in, the smell of her wrapping itself around me. Something sweet and floral with a hint of spice. It’s all Fannin.

“Did he move here with you?” Shelby asks as she taps on her phone.

“No, he’d been here for a year or two before I came. He helped to set this whole place up. It’s his baby.”

“And the owner clearly trusts him,” Fannin adds.

“Aye.”

“Excuse me, I have to take this.” Shelby slides off the stool and weaves her way to the restrooms.

With the glass to her smiling lips, Fannin looks at me through lowered lashes. “So, is that what you’re trying to do? Seduce me with whisky and a plaid skirt?”

“Oh, you’ll know when I’m seducing you, love.” I take a step closer, closing the space between us, forcing her to sit back in her seat. “You’ll feel it in every inch of this gorgeous body.”

Ignoring the room and all the people in it, I run my nose along her jaw, stopping to whisper into her hair. “I won’t need whisky, and the only skirt that I’ll be getting into is yours.”

COVER & BLURB REVEAL: Tied by Kim Karr

Add to your TBR

I was rich, single, and connected, which meant a steady diet of beautiful women wherever I went.

I really did think I had the perfect life.

Until I went and married a supermodel I’d just met, and everything changed.

Of course there were choices. But the word annulment meant giving her up, and I never give up anything. Still, I was a bachelor at heart, and having a wife, well, I didn’t really know what to do with that.

After only forty-eight hours of marriage, I had already gone and screwed everything up.

Now I have thirty days to prove to my new wife that I’m husband material. There’s only one problem—I don’t even know what husband material means. However, I’m certain that won’t stop me from excelling at it.

My wife tells me it isn’t going to be easy. That I have numerous issues to overcome.

First, there’s my jealousy. It needs to be tamed. Did I flip over the fact that her latest picture was causing men around the world to do dirty things all over the covers she graced? Hell, yes. I couldn’t help myself though. When her photo went viral, my caveman instincts kicked in, and I demanded she quit her job and stay home—barefoot and pregnant in my kitchen. I can work on that, right?

Then there’s my mother. I need to convince her that my new wife is not the money hungry floozy she called her. Did my mother actually call her that? Yes. I can’t help it that my mother wants me to get rid of my new wife. The problem is what my mother wants, she always gets one way or another. Still, turning my mother’s opinion around can’t be that hard, can it?

There are many other issues, but according to my new wife, those are minor compared to the biggest one—she says I will never be able to accept being tied down.

Don’t worry—I got this one. I intend to prove to her in no uncertain terms that being tied up, down, or horizontal is just what this Upper East Sider needs.

I was making a hell of a lot of assumptions.

The most important that the dude she was with wasn’t her boyfriend. Poaching another guy’s girl wasn’t something I was into.

That didn’t mean I wouldn’t.

Not that it mattered, she was nowhere in sight.

Just as I was about to give up on ever seeing her again, I spotted her.

Finally.

I’d been looking for her since she walked through the club door, and that was hours ago.

None of that mattered now though because she was looking right back at me, and this time I wasn’t letting her out of my sight.

Adrenaline raced through my veins. I had to meet her. Know her. And yes, fuck her.

She was close.

So close.

She’d sat in a booth across from me, right on the end. We weren’t even ten feet from each other, yet it felt way too far away.

My cheeks grew wide all on their own volition. Fuck, I was smiling like a smitten schoolboy.

Calm the fuck down, I told myself.

She’s just a lay.

But then she smiled back at me with an upward tilt of her luscious lips that not only told me she’d noticed me, but that she liked what she saw, too, and all bets were off.

My body acted on its own. My dick, too.

I had to have her, and I knew I’d do whatever it took to get her.

As soon as I thought the words, any semblance of control I’d had went out the window and my cock went stone hard.

Images of her and me, naked, slick with sweat, and rolling around in the sheets flashed through my mind. I couldn’t stop them.

“James, are you listening to me?” A voice prickled through the air.

Not wanting to be distracted, I nodded and kept my eyes on the gorgeous woman across from me. The woman who was now standing up, taking another guy’s hand, and heading toward the dance floor. The same guy she’d walked in with.

What the fuck? Where had he come from? He wasn’t there a minute ago.

I practically drooled when she walked past me and I caught an up-close glimpse of what she was wearing—a knee-length tighter-than-hell black skirt and some kind of matching slinky top that showed off her taut stomach and beautiful tits.

I couldn’t keep my eyes off of her. She might have been walking with another guy, but her gaze never left me. It was like there was an electric current traveling between us and I knew what I had to do—claim her.

Make her mine for the night.

Standing, I didn’t bother to tell anyone I was with what I was doing. I didn’t want to waste time. I headed toward the dance floor. I have to say, in all the years I’d been coming to his club, I’d never stepped foot on it. Dancing wasn’t my thing.

Tonight, though, anything she was doing would be my thing.

The throng of people seemed to eat her up and I lost her in the sea of bump and grind. The DJ had put on a seductive mix of current songs, clips and pieces that when spliced together sounded really dirty. And it seemed everyone loved it that way. The crowd surged around me, bouncing, wiggling, moving to the beat. Individuals. Couples. Triples. They all moved. Clusters joined together and broke apart in unison. The entire club had gone feral. They weren’t dancing—they were fucking with their clothes on.

I was game for that.

Instinct jabbed at my gut and I kept moving toward the center. The closer I got, the more people there were. Heat and sweat and laughter surrounded me. Women moved in front of me, pressing their bodies close to mine, trying to get me to move to their beat. So very much unlike me, I ignored them all. Not even a smile formed on my face nor did a short flirtation escape my throat. I had to find her.

My blood surged through my veins when I spotted that mess of red hair bouncing. That body moving. Those hips rocking. As if she could sense my stare, she looked my way.

Damn, she was beautiful.

I was hit with full-on attraction.

Instant lust.

Step by step, I made my way toward her. The dude that had led her to the pits of hell was in his own world, as if he just liked to move. There was a decent distance between the two of them so whatever they were, it was far from intimate, or I told myself that was the case anyway.

Normally, I wouldn’t be such an ass, or maybe I would—who the fuck knew, I’d never been in a situation like this. But without a second thought, I tapped the guy on the shoulder.

He turned around.

I bobbed my chin toward the gorgeous vision in front of him. “Mind if I cut in?”

I almost laughed at myself. I’d never used words like that before.

They both glared at me.

I didn’t care. I wanted her, and I wasn’t leaving the dance floor without at least trying.

And I always got what I wanted.

Luckily, he didn’t deck me. It wouldn’t have been good for him. Instead, he started to dance a circle around me. “Sure, man, no problem,” he yelled over the music.

With him out of the way, she was all mine for the night. She just didn’t know it yet. My eyes darted to hers and my body moved closer. “Lindsay, nice to meet you,” I said, getting as close to her as I could.

She continued to glare at me. Hmm…that was not the reaction that I had expected. She practically swallowed me whole with that glance, but I swore I could see her pulse throbbing in her neck in excitement. “How do you know my name?” she asked.

“How could I not? You’re the most gorgeous girl in this place.”

Was I good, or what?

Those feline eyes assessed me, and I could tell she wasn’t impressed.

Okay, on second thought, that might have sounded a little cheesy. I reeled it back. “One my friends knew who you were.”

She nodded, but she still wasn’t moving.

I was.

And I was certain I looked like a damn fool.

“Dance with me,” I said.

This time she shook her head, but at least she was smiling.

Playing hard to get.

I liked it.

Synopsis:

Edwin Allen Mercer

I want them all to read my words. And they do. Every last blood-stained sentence, they've read and praised me for. They love the gore and violence, the realness. And I get a sense of power with it all because I know a secret: the victims in my books—they’re real and have all died on my table. And maybe that’s why the last book had such awful reviews. Murder is, after all, a dirty little thing. Some can stomach it. Others can’t. My answer to those reviews: find a woman to co-author with. To be the next pathetic character in my book. Pity she’s so pretty.

Miranda Cross

All I’ve ever wanted was to be successful as a writer so when I was offered the opportunity to co-author a book with my idol, EA Mercer, I jumped at the chance. He’s beautiful and a literary genius, but something about him makes my stomach knot. And maybe it’s my overactive imagination making my hairs stand on end when he walks up behind me. After all, these wicked little words we’re typing are only fiction. They’re only fiction…

AP new - synopsis.jpg

USA TODAY bestselling author Alexa Riley's first full-length novel shows just what happens when a strong, possessive man finds the woman of his dreams.

I'll never forget the way she looked, so confident and sure of herself. I watched her from a distance. She wasn't ready for me yet. I didn't approach her and I didn't disturb her, but I never once took my eyes off her.

Mallory Sullivan is ready to start her new life. After graduating at the top of her class, she's landed one of the most coveted internships in the United States. Hard work and determination have gotten her to this moment of living the life she only dreamed of while growing up in foster care.

From the start, I knew that she would be my greatest achievement, so the day I let her go, I set down a path for her. A path to me.

She never expected Oz to be the greatest culmination of those dreams. But sometimes fate determines who you fall in love with. Who makes you lose control. Who owns your soul.

And then you realize it wasn't fate at all…

I've wanted to care for and protect her since the first moment I saw her. I've constructed everything in our lives so that at the perfect moment, I could have her, could give her the life she deserves.
