My review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review. 

FINALLY! I have been waiting for Sage and Kimberly's story for a while now and if you have read the previous books, you know why. I won't say why because I don't want to give anything away. 

Sage helps Kimberly change a tire, they have one amazing night together and BOOM. But a misunderstanding makes Sage do that "I'm really mad about what happened, but I won't let you explain" thing (he actually does it TWICE...grrrrr!) we all hate and they spend a couple months apart. When they do reunite Kimberly's sister dies and her life is blown apart. Luckily for her Sage is there to help her through it and He makes sure she knows that from now on, he will be there for her. His family as well. Kimberly already knows a lot of the Mayson clan and they treat her like one of their own, so it just makes sense. Kimberly was a pretty independent person and having to rely on others was hard, but she eventually finds that she needs it to get through. 

I loved this book. Sage was the absolute sweetest. Like his family members before him, he was wasn't looking for "the one" but once he found Kimberly on the side of the road, he knew that she was it. His BOOM. And it was also that way for Kimberly, she just didn't realize it. 

Some of my favorite scenes in this book is when the whole Mayson clan gets together. I love that none of them have changed over the years and it's always nice to get a glimpse to see how things are going for everyone.

“He apologized. Don’t you think you should do the polite thing and at least hear him out?” 

“I don’t know.” 

“You don’t know, or you’re just too scared to find out what will happen if you do?”

“Do we have to do this right now?” I sigh, and he tosses his arm around my shoulders and pulls me into his side. 

“We’ve been doing this for months now. I’ve seen the way you look at him when you think no one will notice, and I see the way he looks at you, not giving a fuck if everyone sees. Even when he thought you and I were a thing, he still made it perfectly clear to those who were watching that if by some chance he got a shot, you would be his.”

“I really think you are reading way too much into this.”

“Am I?”

Aurora Rose Reynolds is a navy brat who's husband served in the United States Navy. She has lived all over the country but now resides in New York City with her Husband and pet fish. She's married to an alpha male that loves her as much as the men in her books love their women. He gives her over the top inspiration everyday. In her free time she reads, writes and enjoys going to the movies with her husband and cookie. She also enjoys taking mini weekend vacations to nowhere, or spends time at home with friends and family. Last but not least she appreciates everyday and admires it's beauty.
