REVIEW BLITZ & 5 STAR REVIEW: Say You Want Me by Corinne Michaels

There’s no way I’ll fall for Wyatt Hennington.

He can keep his Southern drawl, irresistible smile, and those pick-up lines all to himself. I made the mistake of sleeping with him not once, but twice. I’m not stupid enough to give him round three, especially after he left me in the middle of the night so I could see myself out. I vow to return to Philadelphia and forget him.

It proves easier said than done.

When the doctor informs me I’m the winner of door prize number two, I put my life on hold and head back to Bell Buckle. Three months and if we can’t make this work, I’m gone.

The problem is—when the cards are stacked against us, and I can’t bring myself to leave him, I’ll finally know if he truly loves me or if all my fears were real . . .

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

We knew in Say You'll Stay that Wyatt and Angie hooked up, but it was one of those love/hate things. Fast forward about two years and they still don't like each other very much, but that has to change. And fast.

I don't want to give away any plot points, but let me say a few general things. There were some moments that absolutely gutted me and made me sob like a baby. Both Wyatt and Angie go through a lot, but Angie's journey was the most difficult and dare I say, harrowing. Her attitude in the beginning of the book compared to the end was completely transformed and that's what made this book so heartbreaking. Then you have Wyatt. Wyatt. Wyatt. Wyatt. That sweet, sensitive smart ass stole my heart and even when I didn't want to like him, I loved him. Kind of like Angie.

In true Corinne Michaels fashion this book is an emotional one. You will laugh. You will cry. You will get angry. You will feel all the feels. We get lots of the Hennington family and of course Presley and events in the book put in perspective how close this family is. They are always there for each other and want to help in any way they can. Even if that means kicking an ass (figuratively) or two. I also loved the old women mafia that loved to put their nose where it didn't belong. They were hysterical and I'm pretty sure that if they didn't meddle, things in that town would be very different.

Now we wait for Trent's story. I loved Zach. I loved Wyatt. And I'm pretty sure I will love Trent. So I can't wait to see what she does with that story. Hopefully a little emotional torture is on the books for this one. Curious yet?
