My Review
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I have read all of the books in Carly Phillips' Dare to Love series so I was curious when I read this synopsis to this book. I love the Dare family so I thought I would give it a shot. And I am glad that I did.
Piper might be standing in front of Mark on a reality tv show (think Shark Tank), but the two of them have met before. He may not remember the night they spent together, but she definitely does. And she is not going to let that get in her way of her dream. So she stands in front of Mark and his colleagues to ask for money to help support that dream. It is her lucky day because Mark is the only one on the panel who is interested and he gives her the money she needs.
The two start to work together and it isn't long before Mark realizes who she is. When he does remember, that only makes him want to help her even more. And the more he learns about her business, the more he wants her to succeed. They even try to keep their relationship all business, but that only lasts a hot second.
I really enjoyed this book. If you are a fan of the Dare family (Gabriel Dare makes a quick appearance in the book), make sure to add this to your TBR/go 1-click. It was a quick, light read that I finished in no time. I like how Mark and Piper were able to combine both business and pleasure to make her company a success. The book also has a great epilogue that gives us an adorable glimpse into the future. I love when that happens.
