LIFT 2019 Open for Bidding!

The LIFT 4 Autism Auction is open for bidding!

Get your bid on here!

"My oldest was diagnosed with autism in 2009 just days before my husband left for Afghanistan. He was gone for eight months while I navigated the autism world alone with a two-year-old and a baby. I turned to romance books to keep my sanity. I found out about LIFT and felt so empowered that the community that helps keep me sane as I walk through autism was raising money for autism!" -- Michelle, Romance Reader & Autism Mom
A banquet for the bookish, the online auction features more than 300 signed paperbacks, hardcovers, full series sets, out-of-print covers, foreign editions, cannot-even-buy event tickets . . . and MORE, all donated by authors, publishers, bloggers, readers. Just people who wanted to be a part of something to help autism families.

Since 2016, LIFT 4 Autism, a charitable initiative organized each April by authors Ginger Scott and Kennedy Ryan, has raised over $100,000 to benefit families living with autism. All proceeds go to non-profit organizations serving the autism community. This year’s charitable partner is Kulture City, whose programs serve the autism community with compassion and generosity.

Every item up for bid is deeply appreciated! We have highlighted just a few that we anticipate being hot commodities here: http://bit.ly/LIFT19High

2019 LIFT Campaign!

It’s Here! Time for the 2019 LIFT Campaign!

Every April, it’s amazing to see the romance reading, writing and loving community rally around families living with Autism. A few years ago, authors Ginger Scott and Kennedy Ryan launched LIFT 4 Autism, the charitable initiative raising funds for ASD families during Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month. With 1 in every 59 children diagnosed, Autism is now the fastest growing and most common disability in the US. Many of the therapies and services those living with Autism require are not covered by insurance. It can be an expensive and difficult diagnosis to navigate. We are once again partnering with Kulture City, an amazing organization that does incredible things for ASD families.

LIFT Auction is LIVE!

BID | GIVE | LIFT Wear | GIVEAWAY | List of Auction Items

The LIFT Auction is open for bidding!
Monday, April 23 - Friday, April, 27

It’s time! The LIFT 4 Autism auction is open for bidding until Friday, April 27, 5pm EST.

  A few bidding tips:

 1. You must register to bid. This connects any bids you make to an email address and alerts you if someone submits a higher bid, or ultimately if you have the highest bid when the auction closes and you win. Register, browse and bid here: http://bit.ly/LIFT2018Bid

  2. US Only v. International. Before you bid on an item, please note if it is marked Domestic (US Only) or International. If you are outside the US, bid on and win an item marked US Only/domestic, the donor is not obligated to ship Internationally, and the bid will instead be awarded to the next highest eligible bid.

3. There are about 350 items up for bid. For quick reference, you can view this rough list of items, or you can browse, scrolling from page to page, or you can use the search window to find a particular item.

  4. When bidding closes, the person with the highest bid at that time is the winner and will be automatically alerted at the email address they used to register.

  5. Pay for your bid when you receive the notification that you were the winning bidder. Failure to pay for the bid forfeits the item to the next highest bidder.

Don’t wanna bid? Here’s 2 other ways to give & be involved!

2017 LIFT 4 Autism

2017_HeaderVersion

LIFT 4 Autism Online Auction: Monday, April 24 - Friday, April 28

Autism.

A mystery to some. A way of life for others. A cause for all since it is now the fastest growing and most common disability in the US. 1 in every 68 children are diagnosed with Autism. Many of these kids will rely on their parents to some degree, depending on severity, all their lives, with estimated costs between 5 to 7 million dollars in services and care over their lifetime. Many of the services those living with Autism require are not covered by insurance. It is an expensive and difficult lifelong diagnosis to navigate.

Authors Ginger Scott and Kennedy Ryan started LIFT 4 Autism a few years ago as a charitable initiative rallying the romance reading community in April, which is Autism Awareness/Acceptance month. All proceeds go to this year’s charitable partner Kulture City, who is doing amazing things for Autism families. Discover more about them at kulturecity.org.

Specifically, LIFT 2017 will benefit Kulture City’s lifeBOKS program, which provides families with free kits to curtail wandering, a common and potentially life threatening challenge. Lift_BannerLarge

1 in every 68 children is diagnosed with Autism. 1 in every 42 Boys

The LIFT Campaign is a charitable initiative rallying the romance reading community around Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) families in April, Autism Awareness month. Experts estimate that many ASD families spend up to $60,000 out of pocket each year on medical and therapy expenses. This year we're raising funds to assist families struggling to manage these staggering costs. All profits go to the family scholarship program of Talk About Curing Autism (TACA).

The online auction is LIVE!

There are too many items from authors and bloggers up for bid to list here, but we have full signed collections from some of your favorite bestselling authors. We have non-book items like Kindle Paperwhite, Amazon Echo, VIP Tickets to the Mile High Denver author signing, and so many other goodies! So start bidding while doing good!

(Bidding closes Friday, 4/29/16!)

Even if you don't want to bid, you can still make a tax-deductible donation to the scholarship program through our efforts HERE!

Don't miss a thing! Join the LIFT 2016 Facebook Group for bidding alerts and campaign information.

LIFT 4 Autism 2016 & Giveaway

Lift_BannerLarge

April is Autism Awareness month, shining a global light on the condition an estimated 3 million people in the United States and 70 million people in the world live with every day. 1 in every 68 American children. 1 in every 42 boys. Though Autism is the fastest growing developmental disability, affecting this many, for those outside looking in, it often remains a mystery. This month we hope to shine light and spread compassion for families living with Autism.

In addition to raising awareness, we also want to take action. This is the second LIFT 4 Autism campaign, rallying the romance reading community around this cause. More than 200 authors and bloggers are partnering with this effort, many donating books and other items to an auction the last week of April. Proceeds from this auction will go directly to our charitable partner, Talk About Curing Autism (TACA), a national non-profit organization dedicated to educating, empowering and supporting families affected by autism. Specifically, our efforts will benefit families served through TACA's scholarship program to offset medical and therapy costs.

To stay abreast of LIFT news and developments this month, join our Facebook Group.
