Jalynn
I’m the girl who’s always picking up the pieces of other people’s mistakes.
Until tonight.
I accidentally cause one false start, and now I’m being pulled into a guy’s car—who everyone only knows as Falcon—before an illegal street race.
He may not want anyone to truly know who he is, but he’s met his match.
Game on, Falcon.
Austin
People know I run these races.
They know not to mess with me, or my car.
When the identity of the girl who causes a false start is revealed, I have to make an example of her.
Letting her see who I am was never the plan.
Neither was running into her the next day as my brother’s new assistant.
She said she wanted nothing to do with me, but when I yank her into a janitor’s closet, making sure she keeps my secret is the last thing on my mind.
She may want more than my secrets, but my racing may be the last thing I try to hide.

My Review
I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.
Austin is an interesting guy. He's a Sexton Media executive by day and mysterious street car racer, known as Falcon, at night. His anonymity is very important for multiple reasons, but one night a little mistake changes that. All Jalynn wanted to do was watch the races, but a slight misstep on her part finds herself in the passenger seat of Austin's car. While he is racing.
The moment Jalynn enters his car, everything changes for Austin. She essentially forces him to tell her who he really is, but luckily for him, she doesn't realize who he really is. Until the next day. And that's where things REALLY get interesting.
I just loved Austin and Jalynn together. They had such an interesting dynamic. She was sassy and didn't put up with any of Austin's crap. But she is also there to stand up for him when his family beats him down. And Austin loved every minute of it. And I have to admit that I wasn't quite sure about him in the beginning of the book, but that quickly changed. Turns out Austin is actually really freaking sweet and I loved him! He brought the swoons more than once and there were even a few moments that made me think "Oh my god, I may need to take a cold shower after this!"
I can't wait to read more from Lauren and Jeannine. We still have two more Sexton brothers to go and I'm excited to get their stories. We got to know Bryce in this book and I'm dying to watch him fall in love and loosen up a little. He seemed to be one of those "all work and no play" kind of guys, but something tells me that he's going to be just as swoon worthy as Austin, if not more.
