I read this series before I started this whole reviewer/blogging endeavor so I never did a formal review of this series. To say that I liked it, is an understatement. I devoured each volume and then waited in agony for the next one to be released. I'm jealous of anyone who will be reading them all at once!
Only minutes after meeting in NYC, Chloe and Max have hot sex in a club VIP room. Chloe is not one to do something so brazen, so she leaves a little embarrassed and thinking that she will never see him again. But SURPRISE! I love Chloe and Max as a couple. Chloe is a very "by the rules" kind of person. She took on the responsibly of raising her younger sister when she was still young, so she feels she has to follow the rules in order to not only be a good role model, but because that's what people expect of her. Max is the one person who can convince to let loose and be herself.
I LOVE Max. He even made it on to my book boyfriend list: Kimmy's Book Boyfriend List - Part 3. He's sweet, caring, smart, good looking, successful and not afraid to get all Alpha in the bedroom:
