Sela Halstead lost her innocence in a way that no sixteen-year-old should ever have to endure. She’s spent years trying to forget that night even while wondering about the identities of the monsters who brutalized her—until a telltale tattoo flashes across Sela’s TV screen. The incriminating ink belongs to Jonathon Townsend, the millionaire founder of The Sugar Bowl, a website that matches rich older men with impressionable young women. Obsessed with revenge, Sela infiltrates Townsend’s world, only to come face-to-face with a tantalizing complication: Beckett North, his charismatic business partner.
The tech mastermind behind The Sugar Bowl, Beck always gets what he wants, in business and in bed. And yet, for a man who’s done every dirty thing imaginable, there’s something about the naïve, fresh-faced Sela that sparks his hottest fantasies. Because with her, it’s not just about sex. Beck opens up to her in ways he never has with other girls. So why does he get the feeling that she’s hiding something? In a world of pleasure and power, the shocking truth could turn them against each other—or bind them forever.
Note: Sugar Daddy ends on a cliffhanger. Sela and Beck’s story continues in Sugar Rush and Sugar Free!

My Review
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
OMG!! I NEED THE NEXT BOOK LIKE NOW. I was all on board with everything, thinking "Okay. This book ends on a cliffhanger. No big deal." Then BAM! It's the end of the book and I am yelling "Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!"
But let's go back to the beginning. When Sela turned sixteen she was sexually assaulted. She never knew the identity of her attackers, but when she sees Jonathon Townsend on tv, his tattoo is a giveaway that he was one of them. Luckily for Sela, he is a very public man and she sees his company, as a direct path to him. The Sugar Bowl is a website that pairs rich older men with young women. By becoming a Sugar Baby she can get close to Jonathon and expose him for who he truly is. Seems simple enough, right?
Unfortunately for Sela, Jonathon's business partner and best friend, gets in the way. Beck North sees Sela at a work event and is immediately attracted to her. After Jonathon rejects her advances, he strikes up a conversation with her and the two spend the night together. Beck is usually a one night stand kind of guy, but there is something about Sela that makes him want more. He even goes to her and suggests she become his Sugar Baby. While seeing him as a distractions at first, Sela realizes that being in a relationship (business or personal) with him may work to her advantage, so she agrees. But what she doesn't count on is either of them developing genuine feelings for each other. I mean these two are HOT HOT HOT.

This book is very intense at times. I found myself totally on board with Beck and Sela as an actual couple, but somewhere in the back of my mind, I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. At one point Beck catches her in a lie and while she manages to plays it off, part of me was like "Just tell him what you are doing!!!!" I think Beck is a great guy and with everything that is going on, I think that he would definitely support her. She just has to give him that chance.
Since this is a 3 part story, I am guessing that we will learn more about her past as the story goes on. I have lots of questions that I need answers to and there so many details that were not presented in this book (and I understand why), but that just makes more excited for book 2.
