RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW: The Lineup by Meghan Quinn

Want to know a secret?

It's about that girl over there.
Don’t look, but she’s the one in the power suit—with the long, black hair and the serious expression, the one I’m about to go on a date with . . .

Yeah, according to her, she “accidentally” donated an obscene amount of money to my charity — The Lineup — to win said date but I found out the truth. Miss. Button Up Blouse has a secret, passionate crush on me.

I didn’t know her name until two days ago, despite the friends we have in common.
Was I oblivious? Probably.
Was I blind to it? Definitely.

But I’m no fool, I see it now. The High Heel Harlot wants more than just a date with Jason Orson, she wants to be able to claim the best butt in baseball as hers.

Here's another secret . . . she has no idea I know.

My Review

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

Jason Orson is a trip and a half. He's a successful athlete, funny, VERY sensitive, loyal, a great friend, a good cook, and sexy as hell. He had me laughing, although there were a few instances where I thought "Okay, reel it in). Then swooning. Then I wanted to smack him upside the head.

Dottie is a tough woman. She's a successful business woman who can be quite cutthroat, but she does have a soft side that she doesn't let many people see. She's a terrible cook, but like Jason she's loyal, a good friend, can be be quite funny and it turns out, sensitive.

Put these two together and you get quite the couple. The fact that they even got together is kind of a miracle when you look at how it actually happened...thank god Jason is a persistent guy.

This book is very entertaining. Dottie and Jason had a relationship that not only super sexy, but also quite playful. Jason had a knack of making Dottie relax and drop the tough lady act. And just like the two previous books, some of my favorite moments were when Jason, Knox and Carson shared the page. Those three are hilarious and essentially the definition of bromance. So good.

We even get a little Cory Potter in this one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will be getting a book. This book also introduced a NEW character that totally intrigued me. Give us the goods Meghan!
