I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.
Shane meets Alyssa when he visits one of his company's newly acquired hotels. Alyssa is on vacation and is looking to let loose. She thinks Shane is one of the pool boys and he doesn't correct her. They spend an amazing night together, go on a lovely date the next day and then everything falls apart. From that point on Shane does all he can to convince Alyssa that them being together is the right thing.
I loved both Shane and Alyssa. Shane was a very persistent man and he was determined to make Alyssa see that they belonged together. They spend a good portion of the book apart, but when they are together it is so good!
I will say that I wish I had done a reread of Branson and Ariana’s book before reading this one. This story line book overlaps with theirs and there were these moments where I felt as though there was some information missing. If I didn’t already know their story, I think I would have been confused at times.
But I really enjoyed this book and I loved seeing some of the characters from the previous books and all it made me want to do was a massive reread of both series!
